- Track Encounters: Keep a log of how many times you’ve encountered each Pokémon.
- Earn Experience Points (XP): Every encounter earns your Pokémon XP, which helps them level up.
- Leveling Up: As your Pokémon gain XP, they will level up, adding a fun, game-like element to your browsing experience.

- Dark Mode: Switch to a dark theme to reduce eye strain, especially useful during nighttime browsing or prolonged use. Dark mode can also help save battery life on devices with OLED screens.

- Displayed Pokémon Data: Customize which data points about the Pokémon you want to see, including:

Local Data Storage
Keep your data private and secure. All data used by PokeTab is stored locally on your device, ensuring your privacy. This includes:
- Pokémon Data: Stored locally and refreshed monthly to ensure you have the latest information.
- IP & User Location: Only updated when your IP changes to keep location data accurate.
- Weather Data: Updated every hour to provide current conditions.
- User Settings: Stored in Chrome storage for a personalized experience.
- Party Counters & Levels: Managed in a local database to track your Pokémon encounters and progress.
